As third-generation bricklayers, brothers Boaz and Silas Funk take great pride in carrying on their family legacy. Their story began with their Opa, Andy Funk, who founded AM Masonry Ltd. in Winnipeg, Manitoba, earning a strong reputation for his exceptional craftsmanship and integrity throughout his 37-year career. Andy mentored many bricklayers, including his son Derek Funk, who later moved to the Okanagan to create Derock Masonry. For a time, all three generations worked closely together, instilling lasting values of quality and integrity. Since officially taking over the company in 2018, Boaz and Silas have continued to serve the Okanagan with the same dedication and commitment to excellence that has characterized their family for generations.
